I really hope it is worth it to do marching band this summer. It is such an amazing feeling, and I have never felt more accomplished in my life as I do when I am done performing a show. It is time - consuming, challenging, it pisses me off, it takes so much energy, and it is probably the most rewarding thing I have ever done. And this is my last summer I could be able to do it.
However,
I am next in line for a promotion at my job. If I do marching band, I do not get that promotion.
I am trying to work things out with a boy. If I do marching band, I do not get to see him.
I was recommended for a internship with a photographer by my teacher. If I do marching band, I do not get the internship.
I want to spend as much time as possible with my closest group of friends before we all leave for college. If I do marching band, I won’t get to see them until mid - July.
I want to see my little sister show at her horse shows. If I do marching band, I do not get to see her show.
I am torn as fuck.
